ZANU PF IN CRISIS AS WAR VETERANS TURN AGAINST MNANGAGWA
Zimbabwe is in chaos again as the ruling party, ZANU PF, faces another big problem. War veterans, once the most loyal supporters of the government, are now openly fighting against President Emmerson Mnangagwa. This shocking turn of events has made the government panic, and they are now hunting down those speaking out.
The Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO), Zimbabwe’s state security agency, is now keeping a close eye on one of the key war veterans’ leaders, Andreas Ethan Mathibela. They have labeled him “a person of security interest.” This means they see him as a threat to the country’s security. The CIO has also sent out warnings to immigration officers at all borders, telling them not to let Mathibela leave the country. He is now a wanted man.
Mathibela has been speaking out against President Mnangagwa, saying he has failed to run the country properly. This has made him a target for the government. It is a big surprise because war veterans used to be strong supporters of ZANU PF, but now they are angry and demanding change.
The situation is even worse because there is now a big fight within ZANU PF itself. There are two main factions: one led by President Mnangagwa and another by Vice-President Constantino Chiwenga. These factions are now fighting each other, trying to take control of the party. This fight has become more intense, and it is now out in the open.
President Mnangagwa and Vice-President Chiwenga used to work together when they removed Robert Mugabe from power in 2017. But now, they are fighting each other, and their supporters are clashing. The power struggle is so bad that it is causing division even among the war veterans.
War veterans leader Blessed Geza has also called for a popular uprising on 31 March to remove President Mnangagwa from power. This call for a mass protest has caused fear within the government. They know that if the war veterans unite and bring people to the streets, it could be the end of Mnangagwa’s rule.
War veterans have always been a powerful force in Zimbabwe’s politics. They played a key role in helping ZANU PF stay in power for decades. But now, the same group that helped keep the government strong is the one fighting to bring it down. This shows just how bad things have become in the country.
Many people in Zimbabwe are tired of how the government has failed to improve their lives. The economy is broken, jobs are hard to find, and basic services like healthcare and education are falling apart. Even those who once supported ZANU PF are now fed up. War veterans, who once defended the party, are now demanding that Mnangagwa must go.
The situation is tense and dangerous. There are fears that the government might crack down hard on those who dare to protest. The CIO is already on high alert, and they are watching every move that war veterans make. If Blessed Geza and others succeed in rallying people to protest on 31 March, it could lead to violence and more suffering for ordinary Zimbabweans.
People are worried that the government might use force to stop the uprising. The army and the police are known to be loyal to the government and might act brutally to suppress any protests. This could lead to more bloodshed, just like in past protests where people lost their lives.
Zimbabweans are now watching closely to see what will happen next. Will the war veterans succeed in bringing down Mnangagwa, or will the government use its power to crush the dissent? No one knows for sure, but one thing is clear: Zimbabwe is standing on a political time bomb.
The call for Mnangagwa to step down is growing louder, not just from opposition parties but from those who once fought for him to be in power. This is a sign that his support base is crumbling. If the popular uprising takes place as planned, it could mark a turning point in Zimbabwe’s politics.
The people are desperate for change, and even those who once stood with ZANU PF are now demanding something new. As the crisis deepens, it remains to be seen whether Mnangagwa will hold onto power or be forced to step aside by the very people who once put him in charge.
Another fake story trying to divide the revolutionary party. ZANU PF is not going anywhere, and no amount of war vet drama will change that. Mnangagwa is still firmly in control. These so-called war vets are just attention seekers being used by the opposition. Real comrades know where their loyalty lies, with the President and the party.
This article says what many people are afraid to say out loud, even the war vets are done with ZANU PF. If the very people who defended the party are now calling for change, then it’s truly time for Mnangagwa to go
The government is scared, and they should be. You can’t keep failing the people forever and expect them to stay silent. The cracks in ZANU PF are finally too big to hide. This is not about politics anymore. It’s about survival. The country is falling apart, and even war veterans are tired of pretending things are fine. Something big is coming.
CIO and the army are doing the right thing by monitoring threats. Anyone calling for an illegal protest is a danger to peace and must be stopped. We cannot allow anarchy.
